St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital - Stereotaxis Cath Lab #5

Project Details:

This project entailed the complete renovation of an existing cath lab at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. In order to accommodate the magnetic field of the Stereotaxis equipment, the orientation of the room was rotated 180 degrees, and the control room was relocated as well. Challenges included locating cores in the post-tension slab, and replacing the outdated halon fire suppression system that served multiple labs. The project also included the installation of a Helmholtz coil magnetic compensation system at the electron microscopes located on the floor below.

Milestone was engaged as the Owner's Representative / Project Management firm on behalf of St. Luke's Episcopal Health System. MPM oversaw the construction process through the occupancy of the project.
