St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital 3T MRI Replacement Project

Project Details:

This 3T magnet is the first of a new generation of MRI technology. The requirements of project dictated a very aggressive schedule; the design and construction were completed only 79 days from the when the design and construction teams were given notice to proceed. Project challenges included locating a new 16" diameter quench vent in an older facility - through a sterile area. The project also included rework of the existing, shared MRI equipment room and the replacement of air conditioning units without interrupting the operation of the other magnet served by this room. This was the second MRI replacement within a year for the St. Luke's Radiology department.

Engagement:

Milestone was engaged as the Owner's Representative / Project Management firm on behalf of St. Luke's Episcopal Health System. MPM oversaw the entire design phase and construction process through the occupancy of the project.
